Aroma is piney//slightly dank/nutty hops. The flavor is tropical fruit, grapefruit, malts and mildly sweet citrus hops in the finish.

On tap at the outdoor venue during the Black Friday celebration presented by The Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn, IL.. Dispensed to clear plastic, the appearance displayed a clear & bright, golden hue, with a presentable layer of off white/light cream colored froth, and foamy cling to the lacing. The nose was dank & resinous, grassy, some malt sweetness, with a bit of ripeness, citrusy esters as lemon, orange & grapefruit, and a touch of tropical scent. Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste was similarly expressive notes, adding a lingering, citrusy, rind-like, and resinous bitterness. Decent, standard IPA faire.

Golden pour. Aroma is thick diesel fumes. Flavor is dieselly and tropical, low malt character, but also low bitterness.

Post tasting thoughts:
Classic mosaic diesel fumes.

Pours a thin, clear golden with a small white head that quickly fades. The aroma finds citrus hops, pine, grapefruit, pineapple, light caramel, and bread. Mostly standard IPA fare. There is quite a bit of bitterness in this one. Mildly sweet and a little dry. I get heavy mango and pine, as well as a good compliment of grapefruit. Lesser impressions include melon, caramel, and grassy hops. Short and sweet piney finish. Medium in body, with a sticky texture, while a little more than your standard carbonation. Not bad.

The hop screamer at brickstone is different than the beer reviewed years ago. It is now 9% and a dipa. Poured in a tulip Beer is clear orange amber with a thin white head that leaves decent lacing.Aroma is intense tropical fruit and dank herb. Taste is orange, mango, papaya, grapefruit, and dank hops as well as caramel and toffee. Alcohol is mildly present and the flavor coats your mouth for a while and makes me want more. Very good. I must note...it kinda smells and tastes like weed.

clear orange/gold color, small off-white head, lightly lacy. nose is mostly air with the slightest possible hint of hops. flavor is balanced between a light sweet maltiness and a mild citric hop bitterness. medium bodied, bitter finish. this one is a touch too mild for me, but enjoyable nontheless. i enjoyed this one on tap at the brewpub.
