COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Pub favorite is chock full of Citra Hops that give off beautiful orange peel and pine aromas. With 5 hops additions this brew is bold and bright with a great finish.
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's a hazy honey brown with no sparkle, 1/2-finger width off-white foamy head with poor retention but nice rings of lacing. Aroma is fairly subtle orange citrus. Taste is malt forward with citrus and pine. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, flat-to-soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, strangely malt-forward for the style and virtually no carbonation after pretty aggressive poor. Comes off more conventional IPA. The weird thing is that the can felt about 3/4 full (confirmed after I opened it before pouring and it filled my pint glass only about 80% of the way). Was there some kind of slow leak so it lost volume, carbonation and decayed the hops? Filling error? Who knows but I'm guessing something happened and this isn't what was intended.
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 16 oz can. A bit malty but also has a decent amount of citrus/ citrus rind character. Bitterness is more on the stern side. The draft sample I had was much better. (Lead me to buying the 4 pack).
