UPDATED: APR 7, 2021 Bottle 0.33l from our archive, probably five years old. Cloudy, dark brown to black colored. AROMA- peated, roasted to cinder, wood. FLAVOR- neutral to slightly sweet, lightly bitter, peated, roasted, dark chocolate, bitter herbal leaves, wood. Fuller to full bodied. Great.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2020 Piwo czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piany brak. W aromacie torfowo, gdzieś w tel majaczy czekolada. W smaku również torf, wędzona śliwka, czekolada. Pełne. Alko ładnie ukryty. Bardzo niskie wysycenie.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 Pours completely black with little head. Aroma is dark malts, chocolate and loads of peat. Big body, thick mouthfeel. Flavour is rich and with intense peaty and dark malts. Super rich and syrupy, chocolate, molasses, caramel. Some spice. Long peaty finish. Wow, definitely a peat bomb but delicious.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2019 Alez mocno dymny porterek. Pachnie jak wypalana trawa i gaszona dymiaca sie niczym rura wydechowa starego ciagnika w polu. Czarne, nie przezroczysta barwa, dlugi drzewno-dymny profil smakowy, wedzona sliwka, nieco kawy i gozkiej czekolady. Tresciwe, troche ciezkawe, ale dobrze ze alko ukryte. Tylko cos piana slabienka.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2019 Bottle. Super peaty scotch bouquet. Interesting, the scotch totally dominates a pleasant caramel bars porter. Good body and mouthfeel.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2019 On tap at the BroPub in Krakow. Near black with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and alcohol. Taste is extraordinarily intense, with lots of cooking chocolate, peat, Islay whisky, and sweet wood ash. A really delightful mouthful. A little too much sweetness maybe, leaving a slightly chocolatey feel in the mouth, but this is well-balanced by a powerful bitterness. Damned if I can taste the East Goldings hops, but they must be there somewhere. A really vividly characterised beer, well worth seeking out.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2019 Piwo wypite już po terminie. Torf był bardzo wyraźny i dawał nuty palonych kabli. Pod tym skrywała się bardzo przyjemna gładkość i wręcz aksamitność. Ładnie to się ułożyło z czasem, warto było dać mu trochę czasu. Wypadło lepiej niż świeże
