Ron (6246) - Rochester, New York, USA - SEP 13, 2020UPDATED: SEP 13, 2020 Can from JB at Octoberfest day! Poured a bit of a amber color with a average white head. Aromas of sweet malt and a bit of citrus. Tastes a bit of malt, cracker and a bit of citrus.
ganache (6721) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 28, 2020UPDATED: MAR 28, 2020 Pint can from Canal's in Berlin. Pours utterly-clear orange with a hint of gold burnish, supports a dense and foamy white head. Nose mildly sweet with a touch of cracker, toast. Taste relatively dry with a little accumulating hop sweetness around the edges, splash of lemony citrus in the end; bready, toasty light body with average carbonation and a hint of bread crust and hint of spice in the end, drying more there. Low bitterness, clean as a whistle throughout, just a hint of warmth with quick volume. Wasn't expecting much after cracking the can (weak nose) but this is dynamite in the mouth and is very repeatable, balanced and subtle, attacks from several angles, kudos! I'd be happy to make something like this. [2020.03.27: 3.9]
