OldMrCrow (2965) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 4, 2019UPDATED: SEP 4, 2019 Tap at some place in Princeton.
It was late in the night but this was (1) dark (2) easy-drinking (3) dry (4) full of baker's chocolate (5) delicious.
Would repeat.
Jabah (2479) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - MAR 15, 2019UPDATED: MAR 15, 2019 Glad I didn't get an entire 6 of this. Was tempted around St. Patrick's Day. Pours dark brown with a black appearance. On the thin side. Some chocolate in the flavor, but not balanced that well. Some sour notes at the end. I guess I prefer the sweet stouts....but had a lot better dry's than this.
Cheeseboard (2971) - Somerset, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2018On tap at Brewdog, Bristol. Pours clear very dark brown with a beige top. Aroma: roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Taste: dry, fruity, toasted malt, cocoa, hint of coffee, metallic. Thin body, average carb, dry bitter finish
TheKernOwl (219) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2016Faint ground filter coffee nose, with some very faint hints of dark chocolate; possibly more cola stickiness. Fairly wet – but not water-y. Not that dry/bitter a finish – more of dark choc on finish than anything. Much like a less creamy version of draught Guinness – which is no bad thing, but not better than that, or O’Haras Irish Stout.
JorgeLee (2973) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2016Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark black, white head. I had this alongside a couple of other stouts and found it very low in hop (not entirely unexpected) but also quite sweet, with a nice roastiness but also some toffee and slightly lactic sweetness. So not that dry, and not that bitter, which made it less moreish. It was quite tasty, but I wouldn’t really want to drink this all afternoon on a Six Nations weekend which surely must be the key test for a sessionable dry stout.
_angst_ (5019) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 21, 2015Draught @ BBB. Pours pale black with a frothy beige head that doesnät leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and tiny earthy with roasted malts, crispbread, burnt toastdark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, moist soil, ash and minerals. Taste is bitter, malty and tiny fruity. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, slightly roasted astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, burnt toast, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate covered grilled banana, hay, moist soil, ash and minerals. Solid dry stout…
martpez (732) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2015Very decent stout. With the classic malty flavours. Its not as complex and interesting as many stouts, but it makes up for it with its strong earthy flavour.
From the bottle.
witthatsbier (705) - glasgow, SCOTLAND - SEP 3, 201512fl oz bottle
pours a ark brown with a very thin beige head that only lasts for seconds
Aroma is very poor bit of grain not much else

undercurrent25 (2903) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2015Pours a black colour some coffee and roast malts but not as good as Guinness. Mildly disappointing
zacgillbanks (7949) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2015Bottle from Glug, Newcastle. This is a very dark brown-black beer with a thin tan head. It has a sweet milk chocolate and coffee flavour with a slightly thin body, more chocolate notes and a roasted malty finish.
