COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a rosé - and a gose - by any other name. Goses are Red is a stylish match of a funky, crisp and tart gose with the soft sweetness of a rosé wine. The refreshing wheat-based beer begins with some of the qualities you’d expect from a gose, including coriander spicing and a light saltiness to complement the tartness imparted by our house cultures. But the story doesn’t end there - it builds in complexity, thanks to time spent in an oak foeder and the addition of grapes, which impart a refreshing rosé character and color. It’s a charming interpretation that says all the right things, but it’s not as sweet as you.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2022 I'm really liking this. Oak, fruit, Rose wine, dry, slightly tart. Very unique and good.

Oscbert (1678) - Lincoln, California, USA - DEC 15, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2021 Mild malty bread aroma with wine like fruitiness. Pours an amberish pink color with no head. Mouth puckering citric acidity, berry like. Light bodied with medium high co2, lingering tart. Very tart. Almost difficult to drink but right in threshold and drinkable.

omhper (33492) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 30, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 30, 2021 --Canned at Bearbeer tasting. -- Clear pink, brief coarse head. Oaky citric nose with some white wine. Tart with slender body and clean mouthfeel. Citric and mildly salty, lots of oaky wine character.

Mr.Spooks (4080) - Tennessee, USA - OCT 3, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2021 Blisteringly tart, an unrelenting rush of acidic citrus and berry, backed up by a mild vinous note and a hint of oak. Pretty one-note; no different than a million other face-twisting uber-sours out there.

NikkTwist (4993) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2021 Draft at Good Dog. Translucent magenta pour that started with a fizzy cover of bubbles that quickly dissipated. Pungent dark berry sour. Slightly gummy body. Not particularly sweet. Quite flavorful. Big hibiscus up front. Notes of sour cherry, wild strawberry, wineberry (wild raspberry), blackcurrant, and plum. Feeling some stems and leaves that bring in some earthy grassy flavor. Enough salinity and minerals to make it work as a Gose.

jgb9348 (9218) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 9, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 9, 2021 Very clear, perfectly crisp and light pink coloured body with a thinnish off-white head that fades very quickly and leaves nothing on top after a few seconds. Aroma of brine, tart cherries, light apples, a bigger dose of bread and yeast than expected and a dry grassiness in the nose, all with a moderate amount of sugars and floral notes. Light-bodied; Very crisp and dry fruity bite at first with a ton of tart cherry fruits and hibiscus flowers with some brine and salty aspects here with some crisp notes throughout, but very easy-drinking and some lighter wheat at the very end. Aftertaste shows some flowers, cherries, lemons and citrus fruit with a tiny bit of complexities from seemingly spontaneously fermented yeasts, but very clean, super crisp and easy-drinking throughout. Overall, a very nice, dry, tart, floral and easy-drinking beer with tons of complexity and not much body and depth here - this is a good beer for the style with a light malt note and some softer fruits, but a lot of flavours throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Mom's Organic Market in Alexandria, Virginia on 28-February-2021 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-July-2021.

ricardostercios (1454) - Castelló de la Plana, SPAIN - JUN 25, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2021 Lata de 1 pinta donde anuncia 5.6% ALC. Color naranja oscuro, rojizo, turbia, traslucida.

the_beergery (924) - - JUN 14, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2021 1 pint can packaged in Jan 2021. Appearance is a dull hazy red, topped with a thin layer of white froth which disappears almost immediately. Aroma is tart, reminiscent of raspberries. Taste is similar, sourish raspberries (which are actually grapes!), tartness, a little saltiness to take the edge and sting off the tartness, a little oakiness and wood. Medium bodied, little carbonation.

DrNosha (6667) - Württemberg, GERMANY - MAY 15, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2021 1Pint Dose. Rose-braunes trübes Bier. Schaum zerfällt sehr schnell. Beerig saurer Gose Duft. Antrunk extrem sauer! Weinessig, sehr salzig. Das Traubenaroma kommt im Abgang. Da wird es fruchtiger. Ein echter Wachmacher.
