UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 Tap at the Colfax and York location - came to try this because Westword called this one of their 30 favorite Colorado beers of 2021 - of course, they also had the Station 26 pumpkin lager on that list and I hated that one - this one is pleasantly dry for something so strong - sadly, the texture is also a bit watery - some muddled spiciness, light pepper - caramelized sugar sweetness manifests in the finish, along with some alcohol flavors - this is one of many higher abv Bruz beers where I can straight up taste the alcohol - and so many of their beers have this kind of “synthetic” quality to them that I can’t quite explain any better than using that descriptor - I think I officially give up on this place - too bad, too, because this new location is dope and not too far from my house.
