COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I never met a Sasquatch I didn't like. This delicious beer starts with a distinct citrus aroma followed by a complex flavor from European Munich and Biscuit specialty malts. Finally, it ends with the trademark Buckeye finish- hops, hops, and more hops. The Columbus variety is used to balance the brew, and later Sasquatch and I personally dry-hop it with Cascade.

Tap at buckeye, just further proof how far this brewery has fallen in recent years.. their kitchen staff has left for Lizardville and other locations, their brewer left and the rest is history. an orangey type beer, with little to no hop punch, not even clean and tasty just kind of malty and bland. needs more cleaner taste not the lingering malt flavor I get.

On tap @ buckeye. Aroma is apple & pear, reminds me of an air freshener. Finished dry with earthy hops.

(Bottle) Pours a murky orange body with a huge beige head and nice lacing. Aroma of citrus, spruce, and caramel. Flavor of mild citrusy hops, baked apple, and caramel with a bitter finish.

#300 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine hops, caramel, and a slight hint of spices. Flavor is pretty much the same with a decent bitter finish. A very well balanced pale ale. Plenty of hops, epecially on the finish, but a nice mixture with the malts. Nice, not my favorite, but definetely good.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with with yeast swirls softly carbonated brown colored body. The aroma was hoppy and caramel malt. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops herbs mild spice and caramel. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Bomber purchased at Rivers Bend in Ohio. Pours deep amber orange with a thick pillowy white head. Citrus hop aroma. Medium light mouthfeel and fizzy texture. Llight biscuity malt flavor, countered by spicy hops. I also pick up distracting amounts of diacetyl on the finish, which is bitter and soapy. I did not care for this, nor the Hippie IPA. Perhaps I am getting some bad or poorly handled bottles?

22oz bomber. thanks to vyvvy for picking this up on his trip out east. clear orange with a small off-white soapy head. nose is lighty piney with some diacytl unfortunately. flavors are grapefrupt, resinous hops, and diacytl. the diacytl isnt huge in this beer but just enough to bring down the overall enjoyment here. body is somewhat fizzy and over-cabonated. finish shows the diacytl and piney hops. i would like a diacytl less sample next time

Bottle: Pours a nice amber color with a nice white head on it. Aroma is very subtle, but has notes of citrus, and maybe just a hint of pine. Taste has a nice soft citrus and pine feel to it, with just a touch of caramel. There is also a slight bite at the end of each sip which makes this beer very enjoyable.

Certainly tell this is a Buckeye beer from the aroma. A slightly hazy copper color small head. A musty citrus hop aroma. A spicy hop taste. Very good.
