UPDATED: MAY 25, 2021 Ultra light, ultra low alcohol beer. Can from OD Arcade and Lounge, North Myrtle Beach. Taste is surprisingly good for the style, not as thin as I was expecting. Taste is mostly just lighty Mclightface, but very refreshing. Clean and well made. The super low calories in a “beer-like product” is actually kinda nice. Half the alcohol of a normal lager in a beer …. 2.4% alcohol. A nice replacement for Steigl Radler for my “I’m driving and don’t want an effin DUI” beer. Well done, gents, well done.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2020 Clear golden color with a fizzy white head. Minimal aroma of cereal, rice and light bready notes. Similar flavor, malt flavored water with a mild grainy sweetness. Light body with a watery feel/finish. Tick.

This beer is low calorie so if you want to pack on the pounds don't bother with Select 55- its only 55 calories, has a great flavor and amber color, not almost clear like a lot of light beers. I have tried them all & none have this rich taste.

Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a small fairly dense and fluffy white head with decent retention, that reduces to a ring of lace that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness for a short bit. Solid robustness of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Very crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero fruity/yeast notes. Medium carbonation and very light body; with a very smooth and fairly bready/grainy/sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Very thin/watery, but not too bland of a finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 2.4%. Overall this is a very solid light lager. No adjuncts as with the regular version. Clean pale malts and solid earthy hop presence for the style. An enjoyable an well made offering.

One of the worst "beers" I have ever drank! There is no aroma other than of bland seltzer water. There is nothing offending about the appearance so I'll give that a 2. Taste.... Oh my goodness terrible seriously, it might as well be seltzer water. I guess it's super easy to drink, but would want to. Overall bad.... Really bad!

355ml clear twist off. Disclaimer i drank this beer about 3 years after its best by and warm. It was sitting in our bars cellar from a wedding event aince then. We used it to braise sausages for our oktoberfest. Anyways as i was pouring it into the pot took a big swig. Needless to saybit was unpleasant.

Bottle poured a clear tarnished gold with a lingering ring of bubbles. Aromas of bread and light caramel. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of caramel and a hint of earthiness with a crisp finish.
