ABV: 12.5%. Clear dark to medium brown red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, dried fruit, dates, figs, prunes, alcohol - bourbon, barrel - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, bourbon, barrel - vanilla, caramel, figs, wood, sharp - ruff, dry wood - oak. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210828]

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2021 Pours clear dark amber with a medium tan head. Nose: Wood, copper, caramel, prunes. Taste: Wood/oak, nice acidity/sour/sweetness balance, dark fruits, caramel, chocolate. Overall: Very nice and balanced BABW - nice.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2021 Klar, mörk rödbrun färg. Medel till litet skum. Smakar kola, vanilj, russin, bourbon, lite sprit samt en aning saltlakrits. Ganska bra, lite väl spritig kanske.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2021 Burk från SB. Rostbrun/kopparröd med ljusbeige krona. Knäck, bränt socker, kolaremmar, inlagda körsbär, marsipan, sviskon, Bourbon, läder, kokos, vanilj, banankola. Sötma, fat, lätt hetta, lätt kryddig. Helt ok, men inget som riktigt sticker ut.
