UPDATED: AUG 1, 2019 2017 bottle at the epic lambic festival in the middle of nowhere while on 2019 Never to be Topped (challenge to forever do better) Belgium trip with Ian, Jason and James. Seemed to have scored the only bottle at the beginning of the afternoon and got a nice sized pour. Pale magenta with an off white head, fair amount of up front aged grape must, nice funk and sour, some barnyard, mineral and epson salt, opens up with a fresh sourness and some oak, full bodied and milder carbonation, long finish that is delicious.

Flaska på Moeder Lambic Orginal. Funkig och druvig karaktär och lite mer kolsyra. Lätt med smak av druvjuice och bäriga rödblå druvor. Mycket gott.

A glass at Bells and Whistles shared with Matt. Pours a hazy purple with a rose head. Aroma is funky with barnyard and semi-sweet grape notes. Taste is similar, quite dry, tannins, lots of dry grape notes. Nice.
