UPDATED: SEP 19, 2020 [Tasting - Reduktivt tasting Aarhus] [Vintage 2019] Aroma: Moderately acidic, vinous, woody, red grapes, funky, marzipan, raspberries and dark cherries Appearance: Cloudy ruby red with a fast disappearing white head Taste: Moderately acidic and mildly sweet, sour cherries, red grapes, tannic, apples, sour raspberries, red currants and grapes Mouthfeel: Oily texture with no carbonation Overall: Complex and easy to drink!

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2020 Bottle chugged at brewery. Pours deep red with an off white bubbly head that fades to cling on the glass. Aroma is cheesy funk, sharp red grape, oak, a bit of barnyard. Taste is a big funky barnyard hit, red grape skin comes through with drying sharpness, bit of oak and cheesy funk. Super drying close. Bloody lovely!

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2020 Bottle, at the brewery. Deep pink. Light haze. No head. Nose has red wine vinegar. Red grape skin. Old oak. Leather. Taste is dry, tart, and lightly bitter. Tart and dry on the palate. Moderate acidity. Fine carbonation. Tart, dry, red wine fruit to finish.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 75cl-fles in Cantillon te Anderlecht. U: Troebel karmijnrood met een witte schuimrand. G: Lichte zweem van mest, wat vineus en ietwat brett. S: Zoet gevolgd door wat zuur. Bessen, brett, vineus en hout. Zeer dronge afdronk. M: Doordrinker met matige carbonatie.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2019 Bottle: Poured a deep dark reddish color lambic with a large foamy head. Aroma of strong funky notes with some tartness and powerful grape notes are also noticeable. Taste is also a mix of strong grapes notes with some funky notes, light Brett and tart and oak notes are also noticeable. Body is full with good carbonation. Wonderful fruity lambic with loads of fruit notes.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2019 On tap at Green Bench (Zwanze Day). Pinkish/red pour with a fleeting white head. Funk and berry bouquet. Tart with classic horse blanket lemon zest Cantillon notes that give way to marvelous vinous and barrel notes. Good body and mouthfeel. It's very nice but going side by side with '15 Saint Lamvinous this beer came up short.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2019 750ml bottle @ Cantillon, Brussels. Smooth, heavy with berry notes, tartness. Sourness and funky farmyard. Pretty soft and balanced.
