SimonBlok (1732) - Groningen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 13, 2021UPDATED: AUG 13, 2021 Generous pour at Wild Festival. Appearance: raspberry red with a small pinkish head. Aroma: fresh red grapes upfront with some red wine, funky notes, slightly citrussy and brett like, old wood and dusty attic. Taste: mild sweet- and bitterness, and quite heavy tartness. Notes of red grapes and grape skins, lemony brett, autumn leaves and dust. Palate: medium bodied, slick texture and lively carbonation. Overall: not my absolute favorite grape lambic, but it is still very good. The taste fitted my expectations more that Racine for example.
