maekchu (5321) - JAPAN - MAY 23, 2014
Bottle from Yamaichi. Light tangy fruit nose, some grass. Very hazy amber/orange color. Moderately fruit initial: pears, dates, sour apples. Goes a bit off in mid, with some unusual citrus. Then it fades out quickly. Medium body. Okay. Not the most interesting PA.

AmEricanbrew (8281) - Oaklatx, Louisiana, USA - APR 7, 2014
Clear light amber color with fleeting ivory head. Fruity, mild floral, pale malt aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly sweet, fruity pale malt base brew with some subtle floral, spicy hoppage____not bad.

12 oz single bought from Fred Meyer in North Salem. $1.29 Clear, bright golden ale with a large bubbly white head. Rather plain but nice floral hop aromas..,slightly spicy and with a nice pale malt background. Taste is rather well balanced with a honeyish sweetness..that counteracts the hops.Rather good. OK mouth feel nothing wonderful but good to go! Average yet drinkable APA.

12 oz. bottle from Hayduke. We shared a bottle via facebook chat. This pours hazy after being rolled. It is well carbonated. A one finger white head lasts nicely and leaves a layer of lacing. The aroma brings soft and sweet fruit with some citrus in the background. Light malts. The flavor has floral hops out front. It is fairly sweet but that is far from over powering. Some citrus notes that bring light a bit of grapefruit. I also taste something like honeysuckle. There just is not anything to dislike here and I find it to be a fun challenge to my rating skills. It has some cool subtleties that are a delight to rate. My rating is much higher than the average but this beer deserves it.
