COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Low End is our newest farmhouse ale! Made with the same cultures we use for Saison and East Bank, The Low End is a 4.5% ABV hoppy farmhouse ale. We use a huge amount of Colorado Cascade hops for both first wort and whirlpool additions. The result is a very tart citrusy beer. We’re excited to add it to our line!

On tap at Goed Zuur. Pours a pale, clear, straw color, with a medium, fizzy, white head. The aroma is lemon zest, dusty attic, light vanilla and caramel, and a bit of sharp spruce. Nicely dry flavor, with a lovely, mild tartness. Light body, with an acidic, effervescent, and sharp mouthfeel. This is a subtle, simple, yet excellently made saison.

At Goed Zuur, clear golden with small to medium white head. Notes of herbs, lemongrass, hops, gentle tart fruits, lemons, light stone fruit and apple skins, Lovely beer that I could Session on. No acidic notes at all. Reminds me of a nice Table saison or grisette

(On tap @ CBC 2016 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours a pretty clear straw gold with a big white head and lace. Aroma is herbal, zesty citrus, shows off the hop additions, but also wet funk, white wine, flowers, a bit woody in the background, crisp malt body. Flavour is super dry, a little bit watery and heavy on herbal bitterness and mineral sharpness, the fruity citrus quality from the nose is more subdued. Light and refreshing but not the most complex on the tongue, with a light body and zippy carbonation. Pretty solid all things told, but Casey is capable of a more richly developed beer.
