Lore (5131) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 10, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2020 Dark brown colour, practically no head, only some ecru lacing; aroma and taste of dried plum and cherry, cognac, grape, dark chocolate and burnt woody notes; well as tasted right after a prairie masterpiece, it has no chance to be rated as a good imperial stout...but objectively, it is not a good one...not bad, but somehow 'empty' 8 2 7 3 14

Bov (14983) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 30, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2019 from CraftGallery - black beer with a modest head retention; solid roasted aroma of pralines, black chocolate, tobacco, rum and oats; sweet, full-bodied, lively and tasty, subtle carbonation, fairly bitter, residual sweetness, lot of chocolate, roasted malts, grains; light warming alcohol notes, cola and hazelnuts - beautiful

At CBFZ 2018. Pours darkest brown. Aroma is booze, wet damp cellar, vanilla. Body is heavy and strong, super boozy and bitter and burnt, little raisins, rough and edgy. Not great. Brewer agreed that this version was not as good as previous batches, though.

Bottle 33 cl. Black with a light brown head. Cocolate aroma, caramel, coffee and roasted malt. Lots of diss bitter taste with a dry cocolate end, late night. Shared with CH-303 - thanks! Info: 26/2-2017, BB: 31/7-2018

Appearance: Basically black, huge amount of tan head.
Aroma: Dark malt, dark fruits, roasted.
Taste: Dark malt, roasted, fizzy. Slight coffee, but lacking something. Easy drinking for the ABV. Not sure what to make of this one.
Bought: La Petite Brasserie (Fribourg), 330 ml, CHF 7.00
Info: 26/2-2017, BB: 31/7-2018
