COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not everyday you come across a hop named after a fish. So when the rad people at Seattle’s Fast Fashion asked us to brew a beer with their exclusive Anchovy hops from the famed Segal Ranch in WA, how could we resist such an enticing lure! This experimental hop has soft peachy aromas followed by hints of mango and pear with a touch of dried cranberry tang in the background.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 12/6 freshie care of Michael. 100% Anchovy hops from Segal Ranch. Def a new varietal for me. Hazy orange with nice white head. Notes are really pleasant for a modern pale ale: pine resin, orange citrus, watermelon, toasty malt, pear, and biscuit

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2021 Poured from a 16 oz can dated December 06, 2021. Aroma is fairly hop forward with notes of watermelon, tropical citrus, and quite a bit of dank, pine resin notes. Moderate cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, golden-orange with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers throughout. Moderately high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with moderate cracker malt notes that linger a bit in the finish. Moderate bitterness and light alcohol note. Moderately hop forward with watermelon, tropical citrus, hints of guava and moderately strong dank, pine resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pale ale, but not a hop profile that I find particularly amazing. It's a unique hop profile though.
