plastic bottle 1500ml. -as Prokop Jantar Ležák Polotmavé Nefiltrovane; 4.8%ABV. Clear amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, mild caramel in the nose. Moderate malty, caramel, light hoppy and touch of honey with rather sweet finish. Pretty boring.

Bottle from Pivoteka Zly Casy, Prague. Clear deep orange/copper beer with a nice offwhite head. Caramel aroma, grassy, toffee notes, fruity, slightly roasted. Caramel flavor, toffee, grassy and spicy hops, hay, citrus notes, a bit earthy. I kinda liked this.

Amber colour, 1 finger white head. Aroma of bread, hay, caramel. Taste is light sweet, flavour of some herbs. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub in Chyse. A solid Jantar. Nice amber/brownish colour, malty and caramel notes in the aroma, sweet and smooth with a decent hoppy zest in taste. Great, not spectacular.

Draft at the brewpub. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, brewmash, and caramel, as well as light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and hay, as well as a touch of citrus. OK without being great.

On tap. Hazy amber golden with a creamy beige head leaving some lacework. Light caramel in the nose. Medium body with lightly sweet malt and caramel. Dry finish with a little sulphur. 301108

En fût. Pinte dégustée chez Prokop Pivovarsky Pivnice (Karlovy Vary, Rép. Tchèque). Arôme: Odeur de miel et d’houblon avec une pointe fruitée. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût fruité avec une pointe d’houblon. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement aqueuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement fruité. (Rating #1575)
