UPDATED: OCT 2, 2020 Pours a hazy copper color with a foamy beige head. The cedar is very prominent in the aroma which makes it a touch smokey. The flavor is piney with a hint of citrus but has a caramel backbone that mellows the dry finish. An exceptionally smooth upgrade to Cigar City's already stellar Jai Alai IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2020 Pours hazy orange-amber with a 1-finger white head. A touch of bubbling on the glass. Strong, spicy wood aroma sitting atop citrus hops. Body is medium-to-full and a touch oily. Finish is long, with a touch of astringency. Flavor of citrus hops that gives way to a peppery-spicy note from the wood. This sits atop the hops in the finish. Some pine notes as it warms.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2020 Medium brown. Nice head.. decent lacing. Smells like cigar, pepper and citrus. Tastes a bit dank.. malty, hops. Great balance. Solid beer.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2020 Draught @ Albion. Clear dark amber-copper with largish foamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter resinous caramel taste with faint woodsy flavor, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Very solid brew.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2020 33cl blik. Helder oranje van kleur, middelfijne romige creme schuimkraag. De geur is karamel en kruiden. Smaak is zoet, citrus, sinaasappel en hout. Medium body en veel koolzuur.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 Burk på Chapter. Doftar Humidor o cigarr utav helvete. Smaken först westcoast ipa sedan är det cigarrkänsla för hela slanten. Ser att ölen har varit lagrad på cedarfat så det är nog det som gör susen. Mmm god!

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2019 Achetée à Paris, bue ce dimanche soir en faisant les crêpes. Bue facilement. Ses 7.5% ne se sont pas fait sentir. La bière a du corp, proche d'une double ipa, pas vraiment sèche. Elle a un petit gout original (je n'aurais pas trouvé le cèdre). Bonne!

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2019 Can pour with a clear amber color. Aroma of pot. Tastes like bong water with the ash and everything. The clementine comes through at the end But his is very piney and ashy.
