UPDATED: JAN 7, 2022 Djupt mörkröd med fint beige skum. Doftar maltigt (?). Smaken fyllig, lite söt, tämligen besk. Eftersmaken lång och ganska besk, någon sötma, lite kaffe, kanske choklad (C19 igen 😟)

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2021 Caramel, chocolates, red berries, and vanilla aroma. The taste is fantastic, full of the same ingredients as the aroma, but also intense vanilla espresso notes, and wonderful toffe. A great brown ale!

J_man (1166) - Tustin, California, USA - NOV 22, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2021 Picked this out on a recommendation of a good autumn beer. Nice aromas of milk chocolate and toasted wood. Crystal clear medium-dark brown body with a small but foamy tan head. The aroma promised a full brown ale, but the taste wasn't as full as I'd expect. Good light milk chocolate and toasted malt, but it's somewhat light as is the body which is a bit watery. The dark caramel sweetness is well balanced with whatever hops are used here. There's a bit of vanilla and a hint of medium roast coffee underneath this. Lasting chocolate and caramel aftertaste. This is a nice, easy drinking brown ale that's tasty for a fall afternoon or evening sip.
