jbruner (8524) - Lakewood, California, USA - JUL 24, 2019UPDATED: JUL 24, 2019 Pours a mostly clear golden orange from the bottle with fluffy peaks of off-white foam that dissipate to leave moderate lace. Aroma of oxidized malt notes and piney hops. Taste has a touch of caramel and rye malts, but leans towards oxidation, with a bitter pine hop note throughout. Wish the date code was able to be deciphered, I have a hard time believing this is fresh.

Aggiebob (3426) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAR 12, 2018UPDATED: MAR 12, 2018 Draft. Golden color with a quickly disipating white head. The aroma has a nice spiciness with some light pine and a malty backbone. The taste has some dankness to it. Very good.
alexsdad06 (16451) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JAN 9, 2018UPDATED: JAN 10, 2018 Bottle picked up locally from notes. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, light toast, resiny hops, some earthy notes, hops seem faded, not sure about age or storage of this bottle.
harrisoni (24178) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2017Bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber colour with a lasting beige head. Quite an earthy ipa. Now that is odd. It tastes like some of the homebrew I’ve made. Some bitterness. Some cereal on the aroma. As I say odd. Not my kind of thing.
coachd (2388) - O'Fallon, Missouri, USA - JAN 12, 2017Very nice aroma. The description says "a hint of rye" but it shows up big in the aroma. There are also pine hops, vanilla and sweet honey malts. Medium golden color, still see through with bubbles slowly rising to the top of a pale white head. Tastes of sharp pine hops at first, then gives way to rye, vanilla and other sweetness, followed by a moderately hoppy and long lasting aftertaste. Not bland, not a knock your tongue off hop bomb. Very well balanced. Slick easy drinking palate. I had always avoided Cismontane because it is expensive and I am cheap, but I copped this bottle on sale. This was good enough that I might have to pay full price next time - that’s saying a lot.
Hoponmate (309) - NEW ZEALAND - JAN 3, 2017Smells floral and with some fruit. Taste is a syrupy bitter orange. With a real dank hop finish.
