COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aged in port barrels, this edition possesses an incredibly vivid fruit character, crammed with flavours of cherry, blackcurrant and dried cranberry, which really accentuates the fruity coffee. Rich cacao comes in towards the tail to add a touch of bitterness, neatly balancing the fruit and complementing lingering notes of fruitcake.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2021 Bottle. CW online. While watching Rocky II. Pitch black. Super dense ring of tan head. Nose has coconut like tonka bean. Vanilla pod. Fruity port notes. Hint of milky coffee. Fruity dark chocolate. Taste is sweet and rich, with a fruity, tangy bitterness. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel with fine carbonation. Lightly warming. Tangy fruit bitterness to finish. Could have domed a 750 of this as quick as I domed this 375. Love the fruity port twang.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2021 Bottle at home, from CW online, 08/12/21. Black with a good sized tan cap with a hint of gold speckles that dissipates to a swirl after a few minutes. Nose is dark malts, chocolate pot, dried red berries, trace of coffee bean, port barrel, light booze, spice, molasses. Taste comprises decadent chocolate, balanced port barrel tones, cranberries, brown sugar melt, light spice, coffee presence, dark fruit rinds, red berry compote, chocolate dipped cranberries. Full bodied, oily feel, warming balanced boost at the curtain call. Another worldy from this series ... balanced, flavour packed and delivering on every front.
