UPDATED: DEC 9, 2020 Plums and alcohol, caramel biscuit, booze, cloudy brown color with small sized tan head, bit unpleasant bitterness, dried fruit, toffee, bit of burnt sugar, sweet, less boozy in taste, full body, creamy and flat, bit sharp.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2020 Draft: Poured a black brown with tan head. Aroma is nice vanilla barrel with malts. Taste is sticky malts, boozy, slight sour tang from the barrel most likely.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2020 September 7, 2019 - Bermondsey walkabout with harrisoni and lagerloather - at Cloudwater, on draught. Very dark ruby-brown, huge legs on the side of the glass, not a lot of head. Very sweet and slightly sour aroma - Flemish - and then the booze and bourbon kicks in; very, very sweet, almost cloying. Taste is also sweet, more sourness and light oak comes in - not too much bourbon, but would likely be simple and tasty without the BA. Slick and acidic, still - increasing sourness and booziness ... some floaties in the bottom of the glass, not a problem, but ----- boo bourbon!

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2020 Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter strong cinnamon flavor. Average moderate bitter spicy finish. Creamy palate.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2020 Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich dried fruits, malt, hops, caramel, red wine, bourbon and has a sweet vinous finish.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, dusty, bread, caramelized malt, bourbon - barrel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. UPDATED: NOV 16, 2019 Draft at Cloudwater Unit 9 Taproom, Manchester. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, toasted coconut. Sweet, warming, flavors of molasses, cherry, chocolate, soy sauce, bourbon, spicy, vanilla, bitter finish. Full-bodied, oily, smooth. Great.
