Bottle, April 2016. Clouded apricot with a dense white collar. Intensely stewed Darjeeling and dank grapefruit scented dishcloth aroma I wouldn’t immediately associate with Citra. Balanced toasted pale nut and bread crust base with smooth kumquat, lemon curd, nettle and tea notes on top. It’s beautiful but maybe I expected more.

Contemporary IPA as it should be. Mango and passionfruit swim in hop juice, freshly squeezed and ripe for the swill. Not too bitter, not too strong, not too lively, not too thin. A goldilocks beer, the dark gold of the target. Unexpectedly good.

330ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a foamy head. Grapefruit, orange and peach in the aroma. Tangy, hoppy and zesty taste with grapefruit, mandarin and mango detected.

330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Murkey yellow brown, reasonable head. Woody hop aroma. Bitter tropical fruit flavour. Hoppy mango passion fruit aftertaste. Classic big flavoured British IPA. Are Cloudwater the new Kernel?

Aroma of grapefruit, fruity hops, pinneaple and herbs. Taste is tropical fruits, hops, pine and lime. Fruity and refreshing aftertaste. Next one please!
