COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Stout aged in Whistlepig Rye Barrels. Chapter Four. Chased from the brewery by angry co-workers, Master Clown Shoes climbs even deeper into the ancient hills, exhausted he reaches a person who might hold an answer. The Storyteller offers him two tales. One leads to restoration, solace and peace. One leads to scorched earth. How will he make his decision?
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 From a 565 ml. can dated 07/26/21. The pour is dark brown to near black with a tan head and light lacing. The milk chocolate is front and center in the aroma with other sweet malts but little to no booze of wood from the barrel aging. Low medium body. The taste is pure chocolate malt and maybe some cocoa but I do not pick up much in the way of the 10.5% booze. That is buried. Warming though. A fine imperial stout.
