COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
IPA No. 14 is a massive ripe tropical fruit and citrus bomb, with distinct grapefruit and lime notes. The delicious hop palate in this double IPA was achieved by using a combination of Idaho 7, Citra, and Motueka, some of the most quality and fun hops around, dry hopped at a whopping 20g/l!

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2021 Fairly hazy golden yellow and orange coloured body, around 80 per cent opaque, all underneat a thick, four centimetre tall microfoamed, just off-white head and a nice raw honey glow - very nice looking! Aroma of citrus fruit, grass, yeast, bread, bitter and dank hops with some softer floral scents at the end. Medium-bodied; Very sweet candy-like flavours with a peach and stone fruit flavour with a softer, orange, curacao and citrus fruit flavour and bitterness coming out at the end, with a very nice balance of very easy-going malt that is refreshing. Aftertaste is fairly straight-forward with a lot of sweetness, candy-like notes, but the proper balance of malts, no real bitterness at all in the hops and especially the easy-drinking, yet flavourful profile is nicest here. Overall, a super clean and soft IPA with a nice, non-bitter profile, but the malt and sweetness are the standouts here! Great to sample very fresh, and a nice option for a new school IPA! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 05-March-2021 for US$2,99, brewed on 13-October-2020 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-March-2021.

Foffern (2838) - Bodø, NORWAY - SEP 3, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2021 Can at home. Pours a murky dark straw colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of spicy hops, lemon, pine, grass, hay and some ammonia and mango yoghurt. Flavour of pine, grass, oak, pepper, ammonia and passion fruit. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium level bitterness. Nice DIPA. The hop mix really creates a fascinating aroma and flavour that sticks out.
