Jerre (5574) - Deerlijk, BELGIUM - JAN 4, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 4, 2022 Thuis geproefd op 16 oktober 2021 van 33cl fles. (Willems ?) Bijna helder blond met witte kraag. Aroma: zoetje, moutig, miniem beetje citrus, lichtjes houtig (eik). Lichte body.

Alengrin (9649) - Gent, BELGIUM - DEC 30, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 With the popularity of Cornet Oaked, created by Palm and taken over by Swinkels along with the rest of the Palm brewery, it is no surprise that a non-alcoholic version would soon avail - low alcoholic beers also enjoying a huge revival these days. Bottle from a Delhaize supermarket. Snow white, thick and frothy, busily 'Brugse kant'-like lacing, bit irregularly edged but very stable head sustained by enthusiastic sparkling in a crystal clear, pure pale golden blonde beer. Aroma of sweet white bread dough, gum arabic, sweat, wet chicken grains, apple peel, soggy breakfast cereals, dried flowers, potato starch, chewing gum, glue stick, moist shammy or dish water, faint vanilla-ish accent which I assume is supposed to represent the 'oaked' part in the name. Rounded, clean onset, spritzy carbonation with minerally (sparkling water) effects, some apple peel and banana sweetness, slick and thinnish body but not entirely watery, with a bubblegummy and glueish to soapy feel; sweetish and simple graininess in the middle with sourish edge, like any non-alcoholic pale lager (which is probably what this is), adding more of that 'glueishness' in the finish along with a grassy hop bitterish accent and something mildly astringent. Retronasally, that vaguely vanilla-ish element returns, along with a sweet apple-like element; bubblegum and a starch-like factor linger in the end. The simplicity, annoyingly artificial elements of glue, paper and gum as well as that 'whiny' sourishness underlying it all, kept bothering me, but I admit that there are worse non-alcoholic beers around (as well as many, many better ones...).

TtV (608) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 Yellow with a fluffy white head that fades slowly. Aroma is sweetish at first but fades quickly. The taste is fresh at first but brings a sharp bitterness when swallowed. The aftertaste develops little. Not too bad for non alcoholic beer.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2021 33cl Fles van AH. Helder goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Mout, wort, hint van eiken, hint van citrus, licht kruidig, bittere finish. Lichte body. Typisch N/A Belgisch Blondje.

Zlotta (7579) - Hagen, GERMANY - JUN 24, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2021 0.33 l bottle from 'OnderNulPuntVijf', best before May 2022. Clear, golden with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Intensely sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of lots of vanilla, banana and honey. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter and slightly yeasty-spicy taste of vanilla, honey, grains and banana, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy, quite dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Tasty NA beer, very nicely balanced, very much resembles a proper Belgian Ale, just drier.
