Wild ale aged over a year in a red wine puncheon, then refermented 3 times on peaches and then conditioned in a 10 year old bourbon barrel.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 500ml bottle brought and shared by bananabi11, thanks! Clear copper pour. Aroma is funky. Fruit. Some barrel presence, which took some adjusting to enjoy. Taste is also funky. Fruit. The meld is not ideal. About medium bodied. Very interesting mixed fermentation brew. A saison plus? Has some similarity to stuff experienced from both Funk Factory & Like Minds. Plus perhaps some of the raw saison-ness as Funkwerks does. Well enough done to be interested in trying other stuff of theirs. 14.3
