UPDATED: DEC 5, 2018 2018-12-02. Dark brown body, small creamy tan head fades. 3+ Aroma is mild at first, malt, earthy notes light metallic undertones. Flavour is malty, mild sweet malt, caramel touches, drier toasty malt notes follow. Average bodied palate feels lighter than warranted, moderate carbonation. Simple but decent take on the style. 7/3-4/7/3/14 Can from Crooked Mile, Almonte.

Metalchopz (5735) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 12, 2018
Had at the Koven with friends on our first visit there (and not the last). Pours a clear copper colour with a fizzy light beige head and minimal lacing. Coffee aromas over mild roasted malts and dark fruits. Light roasted malt flavours with a light bitter finish and just hints of coffee. Alright for a lighter alcohol content darker brew, but not much else going on other than that.

On tap at Craft Beer Market, Ottawa. Pours a very thin head and has a slightly dark amber appearance. Fairly weak lacing. Aromas of Flavours are actually somewhat bland, some toasted malt, a little bit of a smoky finish. Has a wet mouthfeel. It's alright.

Eructoblaster (6993) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 29, 2017
On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa, ON). Dark brown body with ruby glints and an average off-white foamy head. Decent malty aroma with woody/grainy and chocolate hints. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries woody, roasty, and brown sugar notes. Ends with a good bitter/woody finish. Not bad.

Lubiere (19735) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2017
A reddish copper ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, light caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, smooth. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light bodied, OK.
