Agradable.
TasteLove4 (1) - - APR 7, 2019 does not count UPDATED: APR 7, 2019 For a Kölsch style made with quinoa, it's very interesting. I dunno, we're at a Peruvian restaurant and I really wanna go to town on my wife after drinking this.
I will be looking up a recipe for this to try brewing at home this spring.
chinchill (6213) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 20, 2018330 ml bottle in Cusco.
Pours with a clear amber body and a tall off-white head.
Spicy hops dominate the mild aroma. Grains, including quinoa, are more prominent in the flavor. Very mild bitterness. Medium-high carbonation in a medium-light body.
JStax (10651) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 201833 cl bottle. The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is like apple juice. Taste is more like wheat bead. Sweet. Lighter body and medium carbonation.
Butters (4067) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 7, 2018Sampled at my the Super Tramp Hostel in Cusco. Hazy yellow pour with good white head. Sweet but with a touch of canned corn and just a pinch of noble hop bitterness. Not that great. But at least it was an attempt.

Ritzn (3921) - GERMANY - JUN 14, 2017Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is honey straw grains. Taste is sweet honey and grains. A bit watery but very sweet. Ok.
luttonm (7592) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 23, 2017Barbarian, Lima. Unique beer. Interesting week grain nose. Sticky sweet, alternative grain body. Don’t get how this is even remotely a kolsch. Heavy body, sweet around edges. Finishes fairly dry, with a touch of bitterness. Hard to attribute everything to the quinua, but it must be partly responsible. Not terrible, but odd.
PapaCanard (414) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 3, 2016Bière péruvienne bue dans un restaurant péruvien. Assez douce en bouche, elle se boit facilement. mousse blanche persistante. Une réussite.
treign (31) - Bend, Oregon, USA - OCT 10, 2016Poured from a bottle at LaFresca in Lima. Definitely smelled off for a Kolsch. Too grainy and a little bit funky. Color was far too dark and murky for a Kolsch. Really liked the flavor though. The quinoa came through nicely and the subtle funk reminded me of a sour a little bit. Definitely not a Kolsch but I enjoyed this beer.
