UPDATED: NOV 2, 2021 Pours clear golden with frothy, white head. Nose is tart fruit, rose, hops. Tastes very tart, with notes of rosey florals, hops, and an acidic finish.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2021 Can poured a hazy gold with no foam. Aromas of straw, funk, citrus and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, citrus and light funk with a crisp dry tart finish.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2020 Tall skinny 12 oz can from daughter for christmas. My label says its whiskers on kittens. Nasty looking cat on the label, for a kitten that is. I'm afraid it will bite my fingers off and then scratch my face. Looking forward to this, I love wild beers. Wild mild nose Pour is clear pale with a rapidly fading head. Taste is very good, upfront its quite tart and enjoyable. It follows up with a slight processed feel but the processed feel does not distract from the overall experience. Processed feel tends to fade in the middle and it becomes a little more acceptable as the session continues. Not bad overall, thanks Val! Good overall beer tasting experience.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2020 Bottle. Tart lemony citrus aroma with notes of flora, lacto and a bit of grapefruit. Pours cloudy, pale golden colored with a thin white head that has no retention a no lacing. Starts with tart lemon and floral flavors as well as having a lively mouthfeel. Finishes quite dry and tart with grapefruit and lacto flavors as well as a touch too much acidity. Pretty good, but really tart.

Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin ring of lace. Light spotty lacing on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, moderate oak, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Overall this is an awesome sour blonde ale. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, moderate oak, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesomely well rounded Brett/Bacteria complexity; with great oak presence, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp drying. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.
