UPDATED: JUL 31, 2021 Poured from a can into an IPA glass. Citrus aroma. Pours a clear golden colour with a white head that holds well. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Refreshing and well balanced, but bulk standard IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2021 From a 355ml can on 31/7/2021. Pours a clear medium golden with a small head. Not a lot going on with the nose, just a bit grassy and herbal. The flavour is more pronounced - fruity but not overly sweet, with lots of green and herbal notes. Finished with a firmish resiny bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A bit messy and a very long way from Dainton's best.

On tap at the brrwery taproom. Pours copper amber with an off white top. Aroma: caramel malts, citrus, grapefruit, pine. Taste: light sweet, light bitter, light to moderate malty, caramel, citrus & tropical fruits, pine needles. Light to medium body, light carb. Dry, light bitter finish

Tap at Beer De Luxe, Fed Square, Melbourne. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is malt, tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a crisp, woody, sweet jammy citrus fruit, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

From a can. Not as insane as I’d expected, pretty standard example that is very drinkable.

Draught @ Keg & Brew, Sydney, Australia. Pours hazy golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, citrus, grapefriuit. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, grass, citrus, grapefruit. Medium body, average carboantion, light bitter finish. 100317

Bottle - malt dominant from go to whoa - too malty for me - a bit cloying and thick on the tongue - yes, I get the hops but they’re swamped by the malt - not the vibrancy I seek.

Classic aggressive, arrogant American IPA. Lots of bitter hops, not a whole lot of fruit or pine. Dry and lingering on the palate.

Orange-gold pour with a tight off-white head. Big tropical fruit aroma; passionfruit, pine and caramel. Sweetish, pine, passionfruit, with long bitter finish. Good one.
