COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: The oldest known recipe for mead to be written down in the Nordic countries was in 1520 by the Archbishop Olaus Magnus. The recipe comprised of water, honey, hops and brewers yeast, and concludes, that "on the eight day - or earlier in emergencies - the mead may be drunk, but the longer it is left, the purer, better and healthier it will be." Our products are brewed based on a recipe from about year 1700, and the ingredients are pure and 100 pct. natural - guaranteed free from additives of any kind. Honey is the major and most important item in the recipe.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2019 Pours clear blonde, no head obviously. No head. Smell is intense, honey, bit dry. Taste is thick, sweet, bit wattery ( in the aspect you can taste some minerals, not the body ) medium intense ginger. Nice, but not great.

I work Ren Fairs and i drink alot (ALOT) of Mead, its not for every one but at the same time dont judge it like its a beer, cause its not one. its a for me its got the right amount of sweet but its not too sweet a problem i find with alot of Mead’s i feel like the hops cut some out and helped tone it back. over all i enjoyed it will continue to enjoy it and will save this nice bottle when im done.

I thought I might dig this hopped one the most, but it ended up my least favorite. Musky and prefumey hops, and still tons of honey, which is nice enough, but a touch cloying here.

Aroma is good with brandy and honey. Color is also good with a clear, burnished brass. Flavor was good at first with a boozy honey, but I don’t know if it’s the ginger, hops or what, but I pick up mold and that kills it for me.

Bottle courtesy of a Vi with the Vuong family for Daddy Vuongs birthday. Pours a clear golden body with no lace. Aroma is honey and perfume. Mouthfeel is slick and sugary with notes of honey, alcohol and lots of perfume.
