UPDATED: AUG 9, 2021 RBSG 2017. Cloudy purple beer with a small pinkish head. Oh man is this a sour beer. Tons of lemon, green apple, and sour berry. Slight berry sweetness to it as well as some drying fruit skin and seed notes. Maybe a touch of yogurt. Not terribly complex--basically just a very sour fruit soda.

Sampled at gregwilsonstl's house. It poured a red color with an off-white head. The aroma was of funk, blackberries, grapes and oak. The taste was similar to the aroma with more funk, blackberries, grapes, oak, alcohol and had medium carbonation with a mildly sweet aftertaste. Tasty.

Pours hazy purple with an off white head. The aroma has rich berries and creamy wheat. It has a lush lighter body with sharp carbonation. The taste has sharp berries, pepper, acidity and some grape. Alcohol is nearly absent. Nice.

Sampled at Gregwilsonstl’s tasting. Wow, looks like cherry meets tomatoes. Deep red. Wild funkiness. So robust. This jumps in your face. Berries on steroids. The back of my tongue is under attack but this is very good. Spicy to the max. Wow, just wow.

Bottle shared at RBSG. The beer is a clear purple with a pink head of foam. Big berry fruit and funk in the aroma. Sour and fruity berry notes in the taste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Delicious.

Sampled at RBSG Grand Tasting. In my tasting glass purple with a pinkish head. Nose is berry. Like jam. Medium to full body. Flavor brings tart berry and when it gets to the finish the sweetness of the berry and the underlying sourness make for a delicious beer

Pouring at the RBSG17 Grand Tasting. Pours a gently hazed purple garnet with a thin pink head. Soft berries, fruit. Medium bodied, big acid, fruit and sweetness, acid and gentle fruit. Long acid, a bit acetic. Slow berries and acid.

Bottle at RBSG. Purple color with a fine pink head. Smells sweet and ripe with berry jam, blue berries and what I?d associate with raspberries. Tastes fruity and funky, finishes a little dry. Lots of fruity sweetness and plenty of sour.
