I know this beer looks like more a dessert but that was before the Christmas Eve meal :) Shared with my parents. A sparkling very dark brown beer with a small beige head. First aromatic feeling is 'WOW', black chocolate then vanilla, sips after sips praline nutty character gets more intense ; also coffee. Medium to heavy round sweet, gourmet (which turns into a guilty sugary pleasure), light to medium bitter (not enough!), light warming background (and not enough cheerful or 'cradling'). Medium decreasing body, thin creamy texture, soft gaseous, round chocolate praline round short finish. Overall, very good ! A bit disappointing after the firework of the beginning... Lack of body and consistency.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2020 Liquide noir sans mousse. Nez caramel chocolat et noisette. En bouche, c'est une attaque très sucrée chocolatée puis apparaît un soupçon de noix relevé par la noix de muscade. Magnifique !

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2020 Extremely dark brown pour. Vanilla, caramel, hints of chocolate, molasses, roasted malts for aroma. That's your sweet spot, right there. Hardly bitter. Full bodied with the carbonation on the low down. Tasty tasty tasty tasty.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2020 Black with thin creamy head. Aroma is slightly perfumed and has some raw alcohol. Strange and not very pleasant flavour. Weird background flavours. Must be the nutmeg. Totally overpowering.

Dodatki: Wanilia, ziarna kakaowca, orzechy włoskie, gałka muszkatołowa, laktoza Kolor: Czarny Piana: Minimalna piana, a praktycznie jej brak. Milimetrowa obrączka przyklejona do ostatniej warstwy. Zapach: Pierwsze nuty zapachowe przegięte w przyprawową stronę. Niezmiernie intensywna gałka muszkatołowa oraz ciut cynamonu. Dalej sporo sproszkowanego kakao, gorzkiej czekolady i orzechów włoskich. Nie brakuje również nut palonych. Smak: W mordę jeża! Pyszka! Słodziak jakich mało. Zdecydowanie w klimacie Pastry Stoutów. Ogromne ilości kakao, orzechów włoskich, mlecznej czekolady, wafelków, wanilii oraz ciasteczek czekoladowych. W tle elementy przypraw: cynamon, gałka muszkatołowa oraz Wysoka krągła pełnia, świetne zbite i gęste ciało. Alkohol rozgrzewający, ale nie przegięty. Milusie zaskoczenie. Wysycenie: Średnie. Podsumowanie: Często bywa tak w Pastry Stoutach, że to smak nie podąża za aromatem. Tutaj mamy zupełne przeciwieństwo. Aromat był średni i pomyślałem, ze bedzie kolejny przecietny Imperialny Stout. Smak zaoferował tyle różnorodnej słodyczy, że szybko zapomniałem o zapachowych niedoskonałościach. Pełne, słodkie, wyklejające pokazujące tak dużą różnorodność dodatków (wanilia, kawa, kakao, orzechy, przyprawy, czekolada). Po prostu mniam!

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2020 Can from the brewery online shop. It pours jet black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is very nutty. Walnuts and nutmeg. Sweet roast. Chocolate and light coffee. Sweet vanilla. Quite sweet flavor. Bitter nutty. Creamy texture. Bit odd but still tasty. Sipper.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2020 Burk hos vännen Patte. Doftar gelegodis o friskt o hav. Smaken oopps vad hände här?? Smakar chokladkaka med en gelefruktfyllning hur fasen det nu kan göra det!!?? Mjuk o god i munnen o känslan säger att det känns nästan lite rökigt. Intressant o mycket annorlunda. Nötter, choklad o någon fruktig smak, tror på apelsin. Mycket annorlunda o speciell öl. Fasen stor choklad på burken? Visst lite choklad finns det spår av. Fyllig körsbärs och romerska bågar apelsin 🍊 Imp stout . God udda Imp stout
