UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 10%. Pitch black colour, large and creamy brown head. Aroma of chocolate / cocoa, vanilla, mild coffee and roast malts, a hint of oak and brandy. Warming and sticky mouthfeel. Very sweet and cloying flavour, distinct notes of oak and brandy, loads of chocolate and vanilla, some bittering hops and more roast malts in the finish. Too sweet for me, really, but still a well made beer.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2021 Thick. Molasse nose with dark chocolate, vanilla and milk sugar. Also flavors of dark coffee and bitter cocoa. Dryish and astringent. Nice.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2021 Can sample at a tasting. Opaque black with brown head. The aroma has been a cocoa, vanilla, soy sauce, dark chocolate, alcohol. The flavor is sweet and mild bitter with white head cocoa, dark chocolate, alcohol, soy sauce, spices, cognac, oily. Full-bodied.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 Zwart bier met bruine schuimkraag. Geroosterde mouten, chocolade, vanille. Cognac subtiel op de achtergrond. Behoorlijk zoet, misschien iets te zoet. Verder medium bitter, licht zuurtje. Erg zacht en vol. Goeie weer!
