[ As De Molen Bommen & Granaten (Woodford Reserve BA Eisbock) ].
Clear medium red - orange amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, caramel, bread, fruity malt, rich malt, malty, alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, caramel, rich malt, alcohol - bourbon, bread, coconut - vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - smooth, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20180921]

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2018 750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny beige head. Aroma brings out lots of treacle, bourbon barrels, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour is intense, with a lovely bourbon barrel character, alcohol, treacle and dark fruits. The alcohol is well-managed and it’s not too sweet. Excellent.

21/IX/18 - sample @ Borefts Bierfestival Day 1 BB: n/a - (2018-1350) Thanks to the international Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark purple brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of caramel, nice soft roast, malty, raisins, dried fruits, sugary, bread crust. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: lots of malts, sugary, quite an alcohol burn, some dried fruits, very sugary. Aftertaste: alcohol, melons, sweet, soft bitterness, malty, caramel, some vanilla, little oxidized.
