UPDATED: JUN 6, 2021 2021-06-05. Smooth not quite oily amber body. 3++ Aroma is sweet, sugary, lightly fruity, caramelized and lightly oxidized I expect. Lightly alcoholic as it warms up. Flavour is richly sweet, sugary without being cloying for the most part. Subtle sweet fruit has a poached pear like quality that comes out more as it warms. Smooth syrupy full bodied palate suits it. I suspect this is quite different than it was when fresh but I really enjoy it. Lovely. 7++/3-4/8-9/4+/17+ Recolte 2013 bottle purchased from SAQ in Quebec City December 2018, Toronto.

2012 200ml bottle split 2 ways in a snifter. Clear amber color nice legs in the glass. Aromas is pear, apple, light floral notes. Taste is delicious, pears, honey, not overly sweet, ABV is totally hidden. Well crafted.

Clear dark golden with no head. Aroma is intense sweet toffee, baked pears, grilled pineapple, hints of vanilla. Taste is sweet and and fruity. Full, oily body. Finush is sweet with baked oears, caramel, some vanilla.

[2012] 200ml bottle. Clear dark orange. Flavors are pear, apple, citrus, caramel, honey and alcohol with spicy and floral notes. Full body, syrupy texture.

RBSG 2016 shared at the Grand Tasting. Bottle, 2010 vintage. Orange-tinged golden with high viscosity and long slow legs. Sweet cooked pear/apple, caramel, pie crust, light vanilla. Sublime.

Sampled at RBSG tasting. Pours a clear golden color with no head. The aroma and flavor have sweet pear, some apple like notes, signs of the alcohol, hints of floral character, thicker, syrupy, but very solid, I haven’t had many of these but this was good.
