COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A CELEBRATION OF HOP HARVEST Chasin Freshies Collaboration Together with our friends at Bitburger, we created a fresh hop IPA recipe with both German Callista hops & American wet hops.? Triumph and Callista are this years featured American public varieties harvested from farms in Idaho?. Bitburger was instrumental in the development of Callista and honored us with the opportunity to use their proprietary Siegelhopfen in the recipe.?

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2022 Wegmans can. Slightly hazy gold with a soft off-white head. Resin, red berry, tropical fruit, pale malt nose. Citrus peel, earth, green leaf, lemongrass, peach or apricot skin, light dried flowers in the end.

Oakes (26757) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2021 Hazy, dullish dark blonde, med thick. Earthy, nice piney bitterness. Decent malt base, touch of lemon, light stone fruit. Not bad…is Bitburger getting into modern beer? They should…killer flagship and they can go amazing from there.

bhensonb (20185) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 10, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 Can from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Pours rather hazy gold with a decent creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is juicy; citrus, melon, peach. Med body at least. It's quite juicy, but not really sweet. Flavor is citrus, melon, peach, pale malt and some floral notes. Goes a bit astringent in the finish. Moderately bitter. Very good flavor.

Bitterbill (2959) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - DEC 9, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2021 On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom. Pours a lightly hazy pale gold with a good head of foam and retention. Smells hoppy but also bitter. Citrus, pine, hints of tropical fruitiness. The taste is pine and citrus hops, tropical fruitiness, cracker malt, with a long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. Good mouthfeel, good beer.

deyholla (18611) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2021 Sampled from the tap at the Portland location. Pours a clear light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and slightly dank citrus with just a hint of pine. Flavor has citrus rind and grass up front with a pine note in the finish.

malvrich (762) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - NOV 2, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2021 6 week old can A: Lightly hazed pinkish hued pale gold with 1/2' of long lasting foam. S: Flowers, light citrus and sandalwood. Maybe a touch of honey. T: Bitter and woody with citrus pith the main feature. Caramel, herbs and citrus zest join at the end. M: Smooth textured with crisp carbonation and a slick finish. O: Tasty for sure but a bit too much like a hoppy lager. Overall underwhelming.

slowrunner77 (19086) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 31, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2021 Clear copper orange from the can. One month old by the time we got it, but has a fresh picked hoppy aroma that opens up nice. Good balance and an easy drinker as usual. Grass, lightly bitter citrus and perfume. Not my favorite freshies but they're always good!

wlajwl (10859) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 22, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2021 Aroma is lemon/lime and fruit. The flavor is fruit, lemon/lime, malts and a unique/very bitter hop finish.

douglas88 (12184) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 1, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2021 12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange golden hue with a medium white head. A sweet citrus nose, toast and lemons. Fresh, clean, big bitter lemons, soft perfume, a bit of orange peel, a funky passionfruit note. Certainly I agree with the can's description, cantaloupe.
