UPDATED: JUN 19, 2020 Bottle. Deep murky brown with a 2cm fudge-like slab of light beige head. Aroma of dried and stewed fruit (prunes, figs), marzipan, oak, fruit cake. Syrupy. Luscious with lots of dried and stewed fruit, surprisingly a fair bit of resin and bitterness, some oak and spices. Well integrated alcohol. Good.

Learninbeer (937) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - DEC 9, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2018 The aroma is orange, some spices and caramel. Pours a chocolate/copper with tan head mostly diminishing and good lacing. The taste is a medium bitter. The body is medium/full, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. Very good strong ale for 4 years, maybe a touch light in the body, the alcohol is hidden very well.

Bomber, 2015 vintage. Sweet caramel malt aroma with notes of raisin, fig, dates and herbal hops. Pours cloudy, dark caramel with a thin tan head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with sticky sweet caramel and the above mentioned dark fruit flavors. Finishes dry but quite smooth with more dark fruit sweetness as well as some herbal hops and a little bit of oak. Pretty nice winter warmer, even at the beginning of June.

From bottle in tulip. Pours murky red-tinged brown with 1 cm light tan head, aroma of brown sugar, spice & woody notes. Taste resembles sticky date/Christmas pudding with a fairly sweet finish; enjoyably decadent
