UPDATED: JUL 14, 2020 Can. Very light amber with a nice head. Aroma is kind of weak. Bread, grass a touch fruity. Taste is yeasty grains with a touch of nectirine and Belgian spice.

A crushable beer, with nothing much else to it. Approachable but there's zero pop. A lighter version than expected based off the description. Reviewed on A Brew With You, Ep. 108

12 oz can at Riverwalk in Florida. Pours with an amber body topped by a large frothy white head that had good retention. Flavorful but restrained spicy Belgian yeast and hops. Medium body and carbonation.

12oz can (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Tulip at 49°. Color is a hazy golden with very active carbonation and a very tall very rocky head that eventually falls to a nice tight thick white head. Aroma is a sharp raw spicy grain scent with a note of lemon. It has medium body and a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is bread, lemon, and orange followed by spice hops and a medium bitterness. In the aftertaste the orange seems to standout. Overall I don't know what I think, not like most Belgians I've had. It's not as crisp as a golden and the citrus seems a little odd. It's not bad, but still not good and like I said not like any Belgian I remember having.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight cornish. Bitter, dry and toasted malty. Bitter and slight herbal. Dry and bitter far finish.

12 oz. canned 09/28/2016. Mostly clear, burnt orange brew with a loose disc of foam. Nose is peach and minty resin with mild notes of banana and clove. Flavors of whole grain toast, banana, clove, honey, citrus zest and dried mint leaf. Almost medium bodied with a medium-high fizz and a light astringency.

A dark golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, grass, and spices. The flavor is rather crisp and dry but with a touch of sweetness. Lemons and oranges and bready notes are the main flavors. Im not getting the cherries and peaches mentioned in the commercial description. Overall a pretty simple session ale not bad but not complex either.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with golden fruits and a bit of yeast. The flavor was sweet, tangy and yeasty with sugar and golden fruits. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Quite pleasant.

AROMA: Medium-high Trappist yeast character. Citrusy esters with a clean, flowery or perfume fragrance. Some spicy notes. Some sweet grainy malt background notes. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Dark gold to light orange/copper hue. Cloudy body. Moderate off-white foam laces well. 2/3

FLAVOR: Lightly malty-sweet with honeyed biscuit/cracker flavors. There is a citrusy flavor (mostly orange) throughout. A spicy hoppy presence lingers in the background but becomes quite strong on the finish. Phenols create for a peppery, almost tobacco-like character (possibly tannins) which is strong enough to be a bit distracting. 13/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; medium-high carbonation. Quite crisp with a dry, slightly bitter aftertaste. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Impressive that an American brewery would be able to produce this niche style on a large scale. Pretty much to spec and enjoyable. 7/10

Not much of a Belgian single. Aroma is mainly yeast with a little bit of mold and Spice. Flavor is fairly tart, lots of yeast in a little bit of malt and grain.
