UPDATED: DEC 25, 2021 Levendig helder goudgeel bier met in eerste instantie heel veel schuim wat snel wegzakt. Zoals een goede champagne. Smaak is fruitig zoet met iets van appel, sinaasappel en druiven. Een heel feestelijk bier.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2021 Beery Xmas'21 #11 seems to be an existing but special brew. A fizzy, nearly clear dark-yellow pour, with huge white sparkling head, that bubbles down immediately; as champagne, but flat. Supposedly made with champaign yeast. Aroma is white grapes, spices, but rather soft. Taste is surprisingly sweet, too sweet actually, sugary even, with a soft citric sense; not particularly rich. The fizzy mouthfeel is great! This is an extraordinary beer, really like champagne, but then sweeter, nearly towards liquor. But you don't notice the heavyness, because of the sparkles. A festive drink, that hardly feels as a beer anymore. In concept a very special brew, if it weren't in effect so sweet and a bit plain.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2021 Botella de @Vivalabirra, Oviedo. 27/11/2021. Color amarillo dorado, espuma escasa, aromas levadura, cereal, sabor cítrico, vinosa, levadura cuerpo ligero.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2021 Helder geelkleurig bier met een witte schuimkraag. Geur is zoet (witte druiven) en doet denken aan heel zoete witte wijn. Smaak is gelukkig iets frisser door de gebruikte hop. Afdronk is droog.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2021 750ml bottle best before 2018. Pours a bright gold with strong off white head. Soft white fruits with zest and tartness on the nose. Light to medium body with rich white fruits, residual sugars and mild carbonation. Hints of zest, citrus, and tartness through out but very muchly so like a wine. Some mild heat right at the back.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2021 Clear gold with a fizzy white head and bubbles constantly rising through the beer. Aroma is tart apple, light grains, lemon, and a light to inch of funk. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, slick feel with prickly carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2021 Bottle from Wine Reserve, Cobham. Only bought this because I confused Flanders with Leige and thought it would be my final Belgian region tick. Aroma is vinous and sweetly fruity with a dry edge. Golden amber. Bubbly translucent white head soon disappears almost entirely. Medium bitter with underlying syrupy fruits. Vinous. Light-medium bodied. Thin if slick. Benefits from soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. It's fine. When I was at Uni I'd go to a gig and in order to make my money go further I'd buy some cheap wine to get pissed on beforehand. I have a fuzzy memory that this beer is reminiscent of those wines but cost 3 - 4 times as much.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2020 Notas a albahaca, huevos, azufrados y perfume. Con una espuma generosa aunque fugaz. Persiste un dulzor al final.
