Can. Not my usual selection of beer type, on fact table beers, Kernel aside, I find a waste of space but I have been baited by the fact this is a solo outing for the new hop called Lorien. Right then, a light haze on this yellowish gold beer, tidy white head. Predictably a palate somewhat on the thin side, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin but reasonably sweet malts, probably about right for this low abv affair. The Lorien hops do indeed have a very light grassyness along with a decent piney lime, whisper of lemon in there. Light finish. Easy drinking and pretty tasty for a table beer. I look forward to Lorien in an IPA or DIPA.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 8-3-7-4-14 Can, two months after canning. Pours hazy pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is yeasty notes of hay and farmhouse notes, as well as hoppy notes of stone fruits, citrusy notes of grapefruit, lime and notes of grapes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is grassy hops with lime, grapes, apricots and fruit pits. Dry finish. A nice, drinkable and rustic, hoppy brew.

Taste of more passion fruit, pineapple & a little orange & lychee. Very light bodied with a smooth very slightly creamy mouthfeel & nicely crisp and ok carbonation.
