33 cl bottle @ Nurmo as ”Amber Paas”, BBE 28.01.2011. Rated on 11.02.2011
Aroma is rather nice and perfume-like with floral notes and some toffee typical to aged Belgian Ale. Flavour is a disappointment after the aroma; it is quite flat with some dark fruits, Belgian yeast, floral notes and spices. Still I’d say that aging was good for this one.

Psytron (5142) - Turku, FINLAND - JUL 24, 2011’Tis better than the grocery store version, but quite boring. And can’t even say what actually is wrong. Maybe I just expected more.
esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - JAN 9, 2010Hazy, amber-colured beer. Soapy head with big bubbles. Yeasty, sour fruity aroma. Apricot, banana and strawberries. Estery yeast in the finsih with minor hoppiness. Alcohol is well hidden. Yeasty and a bit sour taste has sweet fruitiness, pala malts and light bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, slick and medium carbonated palate. Easy to drink.
JK54B (1709) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2010Bottled 0.33L Amber Paas. Mild sweetish nose. Pale beige head. Slightly appley nose. Hazy slightly amber colour. Mild hoppiness. Slightly yeasty and fruity taste.
austone (1062) - Turku; Pori, FINLAND - JUL 12, 200933cl bottle, bbe 28/01/11, as "Amber Paas". Dark amber, slightly frothy pale head. Nose has stuffy Tabac cologne notes, old ciqarettes, hint of solvent and slight carrots, very odd and stuffy. Flavor continues the same downhill, stuffy ashiness, some vegies, little hops and loads of nasty grain, alcohol, sugar and belgian yeast. Pouring in the yeast adds further stuffiness. Medium bodied, soft mouthfilling carbonation. Whoa, I really didn’t remember this being so horrible.
