UPDATED: APR 9, 2021 This is a backlog rating from 2019 on draft at BC'S Montgomery, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time, work and/or family. Words to describe this beer are pale malts, lightly toasted, tropical fruits, melon, honey, good.

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2021 Pours amber with an aroma of caramel malt and resinous hops. The flavor is of rich caramel malt with moderate hops bitterness, resin, and citrus. It's medium bodied and superbly balanced. This is an excellent APA.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2020 Nice and very soft. Fruity in many fields and with the touch from these guys. Not as psychedelic as I would have guessed.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2020 I had it from the bottle. The taste is earthy hops, toast, caramel, and citrus. This was balanced pretty well. It was tasty and still drinkable.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2020 12oz bottle. Poured a hazy amber color with a medium white head. Aroma was sweet and grain notes, very familiar DFH character. Flavor was light toasted grains, sweet malts, some cereal notes.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2020 Sampled at GABF 2019 with Paul and Larry. Pours a golden body with soft lace. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with notes of sweet syrup, sugary hop, spice, florals and sugar. Too sweet overall.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Bottle - pours gold, white head - nose/taste of caramel malt, toffee, hops - medium bodied

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2020 Citrus aroma in an amber pour. Hop forward balance with a light grainy fruit body and laid back bitter finish.
