Taste is similar to the aroma. some bitterness and fairly clear finish. Medium body, flavorful without being over the top as some Dogfish beer can be.

Good stuff.

Tastes of citrus hops, followed by sweet malt, with a touch of oaky astringency. Booze is well hidden, does warm a little going down. Sweetness and bitterness are well balanced at the end. Not too thick like some other high abv beers.

Poured a clear medium amber with a mostly lasting thin white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, sweet sugary fruit, light hop. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a smooth rich, toffee apple malt, light warm boozy alcohol palate. Medium medium bodied with to soft carbonation.

Flavor is a pleasing explosion of berry and citrus, finishing with floral hop bitterness. Slightly sweet. Very mellow. Full body, smooth mouthfeel. Very drinkable, especially for this ABV. Great stuff.

Aroma is earthy, spicy hopped. Peaches, booze.
Taste is oaky. Hoppy, earthy and herbal. Stone fruit, fruit peelings.
Mouthfeel is full bodied, but drinkable. Boozy, oily. Thick.
Overall this is really good. This is what a winter warmer should be. I’d buy it again I would recommend it.
