UPDATED: DEC 26, 2021 Can poured a hazy golden amber with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of bread, yeast, light fruitiness and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness and a hint of fruitiness with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2021 35cl Blik van Beer Republic. Iets mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Wat citrus, iets zepig, licht bloemig, smaak is wat waterig, redelijk bitter, dun, meer citrus. Lichte body. Te dun en vlak, vrij overbodig.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2021 Golden colour with soapy head. Aroma and flavour have sweet and sour notes of passion fruit. Decent body for a low calorie beer. Leafy, slightly resinous hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2021 #6 Beer Republic advent calendar. 355 ml can. Pours cloudy orange, small foamy head. Orange zest, grapefruit, pine, resin, honey, lemon. Dry zesty hoppy bitterness. Light bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, hoppy zesty bitter finish. Quite okay considering the low abv.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2021 Golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some lemons and laundry detergent. The flavor is a bit weak with more synthetic lemon flavor. Since when is DFH getting in on trends? Boring and forgettable.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2021 Can. Pours slightly hazed gold with a white head. Light floral hops, a little fruitiness, mild-moderate bitterness, and a balanced finish. This is ok.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2021 A low calorie, low alcohol Session beer. Fine in flavor and perfectly drinkable.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2021 Strong aroma; citrus, melon, mango. A hoppy invitation. It has an orange slightly hazy appearance, well carbonated, topped with a tall airy white head, recedes to 1/4 inch fairly rapidly, but has good retention after that. The initial taste presents a slightly bitter, slightly harsh orange rind flavor followed by a mild melon-like taste. The flavors tend to munge together rather than remaining distinct, resulting in a not unpleasant but muddled taste. After the initial hit of mild bitterness, it mellows out. The finish is fruity, mild, and on the dry side. The aftertaste is pleasant but mostly unremarkable. Half way through, though, a bit of sharpness builds in the aftertaste. Decent body, especially for a low ABV IPA. Overall, OK. Easy enough to drink, decent, if muddled, flavors, and a dry finish. Still, though, I wouldn't put this at the top of my low-cal crusher list.
