Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 1, 2017Bottle to kick off the New Year. After all, why not a French cider to get things going? Pours a medium burnished gold, clear. Interesting aroma of apple, baked apple, apple stem, and oddly enough (but pleasant), fresh cut green wood. Like what you get when you cut that random annoyingly low hanging branch off of the maple tree by your driveway. That. Flavor is essentially a match, emphasis on apple. Not funky. Just a bit thin on the finish, probably because it is at 4%. But nice. Not a bad way at all to get things started.
magsinva (1655) - Virginia, USA - NOV 29, 2015Bottle from beer run - pours cloudy orange with a white head. Has a great green apple and cinnamon thing going. I generally expect funk in my French ciders, which this one is lacking, but this is quite yummy, nonetheless.
DiarmaidBHK (7594) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2015Bottle from unknown vendor. Pours light brown with an inch of white foam which disappears very quickly. Shockingly smells of apples. On the sweet side but not cloying so. Doesn't linger that much which is a nice surprise.

Ernest (9030) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 18, 2015Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately yeasty (barnyard, cobwebs), with notes of sweet apple juice, pear syrup, flowers, cinnamon, wood, brown sugar. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation, lightly astringent.
A nice semi-sweet cider, actually...lots of aromatic intrigue, clean, and good flavor balance for a sweet cider. Better than expected based on the goofy name/label.
michaelinwa (656) - Bothell, Washington, USA - NOV 12, 2015Bottle. Cloudy, medium amber pour, significant carbonation, foamed over when popping the cork. Aroma is apple with some interesting notes of something resembling butterscotch. Very different. Flavor leans sweet, with some candy-like flavor notes, little bit of straw. Finishes sweet. Decent, but a little too sweet without enough complexity to make it work well.
chinchill (6213) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 17, 2015Poured from a large bottle into a small mug.
This smells exactly like aged pressed cider. Refreshing, thanks to both the crisp apple flavor and the medium-high carbonation that creates a soft but lively feel with a light body. .
Delicious, if remarkably similar to very good fresh cider.
BrewBoxer (2752) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 21, 2015Bottle. Pours a semi cloudy orange color. Taste is very sweet and artificial. Not a very complex cider in my opinion
PorterPounder (10071) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 28, 2014Savannah, Ga. - Whole Foods - 750 ml cage corked bottle. Hazy medium orange pour, fluffy white head, nice lacing. Sour apple aroma with a hint of vanilla. Solid sour Granny Smith apple flavor with some unique nuttiness. Thickish mouthfeel. Pretty nice.
