johnnnniee (6326) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 24, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2019 Draft at Shorty's Perfectly clear light amber in color without much of a head on it by the time it got to the table. Malty bready pilsner with hints of earth spice and fruit. Not bad with refried beans.

o_Merlin_o (283) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 14, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2019 Sampled in a blind taste-test on 11/10/2019. Very little aroma. Maybe a hint of tobacco? Sparse head and zero lacing. Tasty! Wet leather, slightly metallic on the tongue. Slight carbonation. Great beer ice cold.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2019 There are ‘amber’ elements to it, but in flavour terms they’re virtually nonexistent, and I’ve had darker Pales. Calling this Amber just because partly amber is like calling a steak vegetarian because it’s got seasoning on it

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2019 Very average wide distribution beer. A go to when at a place with limited selection. About what can be expected from a mass production lager. Great compliment to fast Mexican food (here’s lookin at you Chipotle).

2.4
Mr.Spooks (4080) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 17, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2019 Not terrible, offering up a decent amount of flavor for a Mexican Vienna lager (always seems a little weird writing that). Caramel, dough, and toasted grain are set against mild lemon and corn notes, with a biscuity finish dusted with floral bitterness. Considering the other draft choices at the local Mexican restaurant, I guess Dos Equis Amber wins by default.
