UPDATED: AUG 24, 2021 On tap at beer star in White Center in Seattle. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of lemon, hops & Cheerios. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavours of grains, slight pepper, subtle cream of tartar, lime zest ... overall so so for style.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2021 12oz bottle. Pours a slighltly cloudy yellow-gold with a small foamy head. Aroma is grass, minerals, and some cereals. Taste is cereal, grass, minerals, and tangerine (or a similarly subtle citrus fruit). Acrid yeast in the finish. Light body. Lively carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2021 From a bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aromas of grass and lemon. Flavors are malt forward with some bitter citrus.

This beer pours a hazy, yellow-gold body with an inch of white head that settles to a thin, unbroken sheet and tall, bubbly ring, leaving a wide ring of lace at the top of the glass. To me, the nose suggests wheat and corn, toasted cereal, gentle grassiness, and a bit of yeasty cheesiness. On the palate, the non-sweet malt tastes like lightly toasted cereal with some corn and perhaps a touch of wheat. Hops are in nice balance, offering grassy hop flavors and light-medium bitterness that lingers gently till the next sip without overpowering the palate. It's light-medium in weight, medium in carbonation, and fully dry. Overall, this is a pleasant, balanced, easy drinking beer.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2020 A clear straw body with a finger and half of head. Aroma is mild light malt. Taste is mild bitter, almost a sweet note. Mellow throughout. Texture is medium.

On tap at 5th Annual Eastern Oregon Beer Festival pours nice floral aroma and taste. Long smooth fruity finish.

Hairy Lobster, Portland bottle: pours golden with white head. Aroma is light fruitiness and graininess. Taste is low bitterness, bread and light fruity sweetness in a German way.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2017 Hazy golden colour, big white head. Aroma of malt, hazy, hops, yeast, citrus. Dry sweet and medium bitter taste. Thin body and average carbonation. Nice refreshing beer.

Tap at Woodstock. A: Clear gold with a very thin white head. N: Corn, mineral, cracker, sulfur, some pine and earthiness. Bit of grapefruit as well. T: Bitter and sweet. Clean. M: Light body, no alcohol, crisp carbonation. O :Pretty nice. It’s well rounded and fairly hoppy.
